Trip to Slovakia

Program: Bratislava – Male Karpaty – Banska Stiavnica – Vysoke Tatry – Pieniny – Spis – Krasna Horka – Bratislava.
7 days/ 6 nights 

Day 1
Arrival at Bratislava, one of the most beautiful cities on Danube and the Old town sightseeing. 

Day 2
Trip through Male Karpaty with a visit to viniculture town Modra. The excursion is connected with a visit to a ceramics manufacture and visit to local pottery. The trip continues in Banska Stiavnica, a town with large gold mining tradition, full of local legends. Take a visit to Museum of Mining with an outstanding collection. It is a possibility to see the underground mines with your own eyes. The day ends with arrival at hotel and a dinner.

 Day 3
While passing Low Tatra (Nizke Tatry), there is a stop at Tale, in the well-known golf centre Grey Beer Golf Resort. After a short stop, the trip continues towards the mountain of High Tatra. The day ends with arrival at hotel and a dinner. 

Day 4
Day starts with a trip to the river Dunajec with its rural boats called „plte“. The river marks the border between Slovakia and Poland. The trip ends with a lunch. The day continues at the centre in High Tatra and a visit to the tourist centre Strbske Pleso, Stary Smokovec and Tatranska Lomnica. Day ends with a dinner in the typical Slovak Koliba and is accompanied by the beautiful folk music. 

Day 5
After the breakfast, the trip continues to Spis with towns as Kezmarok, Levoca and Spisska Kapitula. You will visit a wooden orthodox church decorated with unique frescoes, the world famous Church of Saint Jakub (James) with the wooden gothic altar. After turning back to hotel, spa will be prepared for your relax. 

Day 6
The morning departure from High Tatra continues through Baska Bystrica back to Bratislava. Banska Bystrica has been a centre of miners once, and it is the centre of Central Slovakia. Take a walk down the Main Square with lots of cafes and restaurants (lunch).  The arrival at Bratislava and accommodation in hotel is scheduled for the afternoon. In the evening, a good-bye dinner is held in the typical Slovak restaurant. 

Day 7
Transfer to the airport Bratislava/Vienna
